首都14家新闻单位联合评选的2002年中国十大经济新闻在北京揭晓。首选的十大经济新闻是:①党的十六大确定了全面建设小康社会的奋斗目标;②今年我国经济增长速度将达到8%左右,国内生产总值(GDP)超过10万亿元人民币;③我国实际利用外商直接投资将超过500亿美元,跃居世界第一;④我国外贸进出口总额全年可达6200亿美元,在世界位次有望由第六升至第五;⑤加入世贸组织一年来政府职能转变迈出重要步伐,国家清理法规文件2300多个,取消行政审批项目789项;⑥7月19日民政部宣布,我国1930.8万符合“低保”条件的城市困难
The Top 10 Economic News in 2002 jointly announced by 14 news agencies in the capital were announced in Beijing. The top ten preferred economic news are: ①The 16th CPC National Congress set the goal of building an overall well-to-do society; ② China’s economic growth will reach about 8% this year with gross domestic product (GDP) exceeding 10 trillion yuan; ③ China’s actual utilization of foreign direct investment will surpass 500 billion U.S. dollars and will rank the first in the world. ④ China’s total foreign trade volume will reach 6,200 billion U.S. dollars in the year, and it is expected that the world ranking will rise from the sixth to the fifth. Over the past year, the transformation of government functions has taken an important step. More than 2,300 pieces of state regulatory documents were cleared and 789 administrative examination and approval items were canceled. On July 19, the Ministry of Civil Affairs announced that 19,308,000 cities in China met the conditions of “subsistence allowances”
