The Commercial Bank Law of the People’s Republic of China was deliberated and passed at the 13th meeting of the Eighth NPC Standing Committee on May 10, 1995. This is the second Financial Dafa promulgated by China since the Third Plenary Session of the Eighth National People’s Congress examined and adopted the “People’s Bank of China Law of the People’s Republic of China” in March this year. This law summarizes the practical experience of the reform of commercial banks since the founding of our country, especially since the reform of the financial system. According to the need of establishing a system of commercial banks under the socialist market economic system, this law creatively draws upon and incorporates the principle of commercial banks
