采用稀土镁钛复合变质剂制取蠕墨铸铁得到了良好效果。这种方法和其它方法相比,具有一系列的优点:合金吸收率高,反应稳定,处理过程中不须搅拌,处理后衰退缓慢,并扩大了残余镁、稀土含量的范围。研究了变质处理中变质剂加入量、原铁水含硫量等工艺参数对稳定性的影响。在变质处理温度为1420~1470℃,原铁水含硫量<0.04%时,加入0.5~0.6%的稀土镁合金,0.6~0.7%的钛铁及0.2%的硅钙,可稳定地获得蠕墨铸铁。试验表明,蠕墨铸铁的机械性能、铸造性能和导热性能均优于铬钼铜合金铸铁,因而可代替合金铸铁制造柴油机缸盖等复杂零件。用这种铸铁浇注了4000马力内燃机车柴油机缸盖等,改善了性能,提高了成品率。
The use of rare earth magnesium composite modifier preparation of compacted graphite cast iron has been good results. Compared with other methods, this method has a series of advantages: high absorption rate of the alloy, stable reaction, no stirring in the treatment process, slow decay after treatment, and widening the range of residual magnesium and rare earth content. The effects of the amount of modifier added, the content of sulfur in molten iron, on the stability were studied. In the metamorphic treatment temperature of 1420 ~ 1470 ℃, the original molten iron sulfur content of <0.04%, adding 0.5 ~ 0.6% of rare earth magnesium alloy, 0.6 ~ 0.7% of ilmenite and 0.2% cast iron. Tests show that compacted graphite cast iron has better mechanical properties, casting properties and thermal conductivity than chromium, molybdenum and copper alloy cast iron, which can replace the complex cast iron to manufacture diesel engine cylinder head and other complex parts. Casting 4000 horsepower diesel locomotive diesel engine cylinder head with cast iron improves performance and improves yield.
