在采用盐浴炉进行工件的淬火时,盐浴炉中的氯化钡是有剧毒的盐。为保证工件淬火质量,在盐浴炉工作过程中要不断地从炉中清除炉渣。经化学分析,在炉渣中还含有50%左右的氯化钡。过去,对这种炉渣我们无法处理,经过无产阶级文化大革命,特别是在批林批孔运动中,在党委领导下,成立了三结合的“三废治理小组”,对氯化钡盐浴炉渣的处理进行了多次试验,终于找到了用水淬法来处理炉渣,并回收氯化钡。经过两年来的生产实践,证明用这种方法处理氯化钡盐浴炉渣是可行的,不仅解决了对环境污染问题,还能回收大量的氯化钡。现将水淬法处理氯化钡炉渣的情况介绍如下。
