2005年5月下旬,保德县东关镇居民李建文在翻修旧宅的过程中,出土了七通清代石碑。2006年2月4日-5日,笔者在保德县文管所见到石碑并做了抄录。其中三块石碑较为完整,文字清晰可辨,另外四块石碑系两块完整石碑分断,惜乎文字大部磨灭难辨,今分别如实录文如下:(标点符号系笔者所加,字体不清者用□表示,行段用“/”表示)《禁使小钱碑记》碑青石质,长方形,宽60,厚15,高90厘米。碑文十二行,足行28字,楷书。錢制之設,由来久矣。金銀以次,惟銅為貴,故必以銅。邊圆象天,孔方法地。/取羲至精,而稱為錢者,取足於十分一錢之羲,而物價低昂,斯得平允。故/歷代制錢,莫不准此。自有不法之徒私鑄魚眼、沙殼,奸商販賣攙雜使用./以致銀數增長.物價
