张景樵是自治区直属机关离休干部。他热心救助困难群体的事迹,曾多次被《内蒙古日报》等媒体报道和转载。仅《北方新报》一家媒体上,有关他为遭受自然灾害的地区、贫困失学儿童和贫困大学生、见义勇为青年、农村牧区贫困患者、残疾人捐款的报道就有五六十条之多。2008年汶川大地震发生后,张景樵先以个人名义捐款500元,此后支部组织老同志捐款,他又捐了500元,并交纳了100元的特殊
