ZTE, which is a member of the executive board (the highest authority of the WiMAX Forum), has been mentioned many times in various discussions. Many foreign manufacturers have always expressed their intention to Huawei and ZTE, two Chinese companies participating in the WiMAX Forum, to do more with the Chinese government. Huawei and ZTE’s strength in WiMAX will further affect the Chinese government’s decision-making and knock on the door to the exciting Chinese market. Another layer of implication also means that things in other markets are handed over to these foreign companies.
