峨眉山,山青水秀,风景秀丽,世界闻名。乐山陆军预备役步兵旅就驻扎在这座美丽的仙山脚下。该旅大力发扬拥政爱民的光荣传统,在地方两个文明建设中作出了突出贡献,被乐山市评为拥政爱民先进单位。同时,乐山市委、市政府和全市340万人民,把支持部队建设作为义不容辞的责任,在人力、财力和物力上给予部队大力支持。峨眉山市两次被评为“全国双拥模范城”,目前,已形成地方真心拥军,部队诚意爱民的良好氛围。
