OBJECTIVE: To analyze the basic information of MADSbox gene in known apple (Malus × domestica) and study its expression in different tissues. Methods: The NCBI database was used to query and obtain the MADS-box gene of apple. Bioinformatics analysis was performed on the protein sequence using CLC Combined Workbench version 6, WebLogo3, MEGA4.1, MapInspect and MEME.
