VXI总线的一个杰出的性能是它的灵活性。对几乎所有的测试应用项目都具有相应的现成仪器。而且当你没有找到你所需要的仪器时,你可用一个数字转换器加上合适的软件来自己制作一台仪器。此外,你可采用任何一种普通的计算机或操作系统去控制你的VXI总线系统。然而,这个灵活性中有一个问题,即你一旦选用了一个计算机,你必须了解如何将它连接到你的VXI总线的主机架上。
One outstanding performance of the VXI bus is its flexibility. Almost all test applications have the appropriate off-the-shelf instruments. And when you do not find the instrument you need, you can create your own instrument with a digitizer plus the right software. In addition, you can use any common computer or operating system to control your VXI bus system. However, there is a problem with this flexibility, which is that once you have selected a computer, you have to understand how to connect it to the main rack of your VXI bus.
