莲藕是一种水生蔬菜,其地下藕体脆嫩,可当水果生吃,或切成藕片、藕丝炒菜吃,也可制成糖藕片或加工成藕粉;其花、叶可作饮料和中药材;其果实(莲子)是一种营养很好的食品.所以说莲藕全身是宝.莲藕分深水藕与浅水藕(旱藕)两种.栽培深水藕不需要占用农田,可利用湖泊、浅滩和低洼地种植.我区的银川、贺兰、永宁、灵武、吴忠等县市的个别场、队曾栽培过多年,生长良好,一般亩产莲藕1,000~1,500斤.现将深水藕和浅水藕的栽培方法分别介绍如下:
