辛培源是大连最早的中国人工会组织——工学会的发起人和领导人之一,曾任大连中华工学会文牍部副主任、中共沙河口工场支部委员等职,对20世纪20年代的大连工人运动和大连人民爱国反帝斗争卓有贡献。九一八事变后,他北上抗日,冒着生命危险,多次往来中国和苏联之间,长期从事艰险的国际反法西斯秘密情报工作。他曾两次被捕入狱,英勇抗刑,坚贞不屈,最后壮烈牺牲。本文以科学分析的方法,小心求证,对大量的日伪焚残档案资料和亲历人员的口述史料进行鉴别,拔乱反正,去伪存真,推翻了日本关东宪兵队有意加害辛培源的所谓“供述”和“文化大革命”中把辛培源打成叛徒的污蔑不实之词,还了历史的本来面目,澄清了辛培源革命烈士的光辉形象。
Xin Pei-yuan was one of the initiators and leaders of Dalian Institute of Engineering, the first Chinese trade union organization in Dalian. He was former deputy director of Wen Jia Department of Dalian Chinese Society of Engineering and a member of the Shahekou workshop branch of the Communist Party of China. And Dalian people patriotic anti-imperialist struggle make outstanding contribution. After the September 18 Incident, he risked his life on the road northward to the war of resistance against Japan. He traveled between China and the Soviet Union many times and engaged in the difficult and dangerous international anti-fascist secret information work. He was twice arrested and imprisoned, heroically executed, steadfast and unyielding, and finally died in a heroic sacrifice.
