玉足海参[Holothuria leucospilota(Brandt)]是我国南海分布广、数量大、经济价值低的一种海参。作者采用碱解法消化,以醋酸钾法结合十六烷基三甲基溴化铵络合法分离提纯,获得了两种酸性多糖。对有关多糖的电泳迁移率、异染性质、比旋度、特性粘度分别进行了测定。组成分析证明,多糖之一,为聚岩藻糖硫酸酯。此糖已在不同科属的海参体壁中检出。另一多糖系硫酸粘多糖,由氨基半乳糖、葡萄糖醛酸、岩藻糖和硫酸基所组成。其组成成分虽和已知的剌参(Stichopus japonicus
Holothuria leucospilota (Brandt) is a kind of sea cucumber with wide distribution, large quantity and low economic value in the South China Sea. The authors digested by alkaline hydrolysis and purified by potassium acetate method combined with cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide complexation to obtain two acidic polysaccharides. The electrophoretic mobility, heterochromatic properties, specific rotation, and intrinsic viscosity of the polysaccharides were determined. Composition analysis confirmed that one of the polysaccharides was fucose sulfate. This sugar has been detected in the body wall of sea cucumbers of different families. Another polysaccharide is a sulphate glycosaminoglycan composed of galactose, glucuronic acid, fucose, and sulfate groups. Although its composition is similar to that of known stichopus (Stichopus japonicus)
