图书馆是人类文明发展到一定程度的产物。图书馆的主要功能是图书、信息资源的收集、整理和提供借阅。而在知识飞速更新与发展的今天,知识资源越来越受到人们的关注,“学习型社会”也是我国构建社会主义和谐社会的目标之一。因此作为图书等信息资源的集中地——图书馆就越来越受到人们的青睐。期刊信息资源包括报纸、杂志、专业文献、等几大类,可以集中的反映我国政治、经济、文化等各个领域的先关专业内容,是重要的知识资源,对于提高人们的个人修养、提高整个国家发展的文化软实力有着重要的作用,因此图书馆的期刊信息资源的开发与利用有着十分重要的意义。本文以图书馆的期刊信息资源作为主要论点,具体探讨图书馆期刊信息资源的开发与利用措施。
