中英文秘书专业是改革开放的产物。自八十年代中期以来,我国有许多大专院校都相继增设了这一热门专业。究竟怎样办好这一新兴专业?两年来,笔者先后走访了广东、湖南、江苏等部分高校及有关企、事业单位,从中发现目前这一专业的教学方式以及课程设置存在很多问题,学校培养的学生与当今社会要求的人才标准形成了极大的反差。所以,改革中英文秘书专业的教学方式和课程设置势在必行。对此,我们进行了以下的尝试:
Chinese and English secretarial profession is the product of reform and opening up. Since the mid-eighties, many tertiary institutions in our country have successively created this popular specialty. In the past two years, I visited some colleges and universities, relevant enterprises and institutions in Guangdong, Hunan and Jiangsu Provinces, and found that there are many problems in the current teaching methods and curriculums. Students and today’s community standards of talent required to form a great contrast. Therefore, the reform of English secretary professional teaching methods and curriculum is imperative. In response, we made the following attempts:
