温泉镇电视差转塔座落在咸宁市温泉镇南郊泉山峰顶颠。1981年设计,次年5月建成投入使用。建筑面积422 m~2。建成后除为电视差转服务外,还供林区公园游人歇息凭览。温泉镇环境清幽,无工业污染,以天然地热资源“矿泉水”著称:每年接待大量中外游人和不少的会议。泉山是联合国定点定期考察的多品种竹林区:风景秀丽,气候宜人,构成了一座自然森林型公园。由于温泉镇人口不断增多,市政建设发展迅速分布面益广,原有差转塔座势低,塔身矮,发射范围小,己不适应要求。根据城市规划和旅游需要综合考虑,新建差转塔选址于泉山峰顶。在该塔的建筑设计
