This year is the 15th year of Valery Shereda’s participation in the competition. He had already decided on a special project. At the age of 17, he took part in a national youth competition and competed with the later world record creator, European champion Jascin. Of course, no outstanding achievements were made. Sheleda entered the national youth team at the age of 18 and fought high against the later Olympic champion and East German world record creator Weisig in international competitions.
