有位喜欢中国文化的外国朋友,每次来北京,都住在新北纬饭店。问她何故?她表示那个饭店有特色,北京味道很浓。曾有一次去新北纬饭店拜访她,她很礼貌的在大堂迎接。随后,她指着大堂靠里隔断屏风上的一组八幅名曰《天桥八大怪》立轴画,用地道的中文对我说:“老北京的天桥八大怪,嘿嘿,够味儿!”当时,我只顾着佩服她流利的中文,并没有太留意她指的画。
