Cross-presentation is a pathway that presents exogenous antigens to MHC class I and plays an important role in enhancing the immune response of CD8 + T cells. Increasing the stability of the antigen in cross-presentation can significantly improve the ability of cells to cross-present, while cells with cross-presentation have a variety of potential molecular mechanisms to inhibit protease activity, thereby reducing the rate of antigen degradation and enhancing the stability of the antigen . In addition, the antigen can be made more stable by the specific endosome receptor, thereby improving the efficiency of cross-presentation. The ability to cross-present cells can be further enhanced by different antigen assembly patterns. With the continuous understanding of the molecular mechanisms of cross-presentation, the use of its potential immunotherapeutic utility will provide new ideas for the treatment of diseases.
