从记事起,父亲给我的印象一直是沉默的,一天都说不上几句话,更难得一见他的笑容,但他睡觉时呼噜却打得震天响。别看父亲不识得几个字,可对我们姐弟几个的学习却管得相当严。姐姐们中途辍学后,他便把希望都寄托在了我身上。别人家的孩子像我这样大已经跟大人下田干活了,可父亲却从不让我去,他不仅是怜惜我单薄的身板,更主要的是想让我抓紧时间学习。有一次我谎称学校补课玩到天黑才回家,一进门父亲一巴掌把我扇倒在地上。原来天黑了他去学校接我,才知道我撒了谎。从那以后我再不敢对学习有所松懈。不是怕父亲的巴掌,而是怕他打我一巴掌后失望的眼神。
