The University of California, Berkeley School of Journalism, echoing the Columbia School of Journalism on the east coast, is distinctive. In addition to reporting on the most prestigious Asian issues in the industry, the School of Journalism also places special emphasis on economically reported education. They have separate courses on economic reporting designed to foster skilled writers for the nation’s leading financial media and large-scale integrated media, and to “battle” once they go home.
