新课程改革实施以来,高中英语教学的目标已经从单一的强调应试教育转变为全面推进素质教育,即着眼于开发学生的潜在能力,以完善和提高学生在语言、文化、思想意识、情感和人文素养等方面的综合素质。在新课标理念下,我们基础教育工作者要转变观念,优化教学方法,构建新型师生关系,充分利用教材进行文化渗透,在课堂教学中进行跨文化教育,增强学生的文化内涵,培养学生的跨文化理解和跨文化交际能力。同时,也应关注学生的情感,提高人文素养。培养全面的综合性人才来满足社会对人才越来越高的要求。
