我场位于终南山北坡、坝水之南,辆川河与流峪河之间。1959年建场,多年来,在毛主席革命路线指引下,在各级党委的领导下,艰苦奋斗,排除了刘少奇、林彪及“四人帮”的干扰破坏,截至1977年春已造林48445.7亩,占宜林地面积54943.8亩的88.2％。保存率较高,占造林面积的92.1％。其中油松32736.5亩,华山松6312.3亩。已郁闭成林23000余亩,有9000余亩已可间伐利用。1961年直播的油松林平均高达6.5米,胸径9.5厘米。使终南山披上了绿装,林区周围降雨量逐年增多,干沟流出了清水,自然面貌发生了显著的变化。
