中国热带农业科学院、华南热带作物学院(简称“两院”),是热带农业及农业工程的多科性高等研究机构和院校,是我国热带作物科学研究和教学中心。两院是一个整体实行科研、教学、推广三结合体制,一套领导班子,机关合署办公。下设12个研究所、1个研究中心、1个国家重点实验室、1个部属重点实验室。华南热带作物学院下属有工学部、农学部、经贸与计算机学部、文法学部和成年人教育学院。开办了博士生、硕士研究生、本科、专科和短训班。现有在校
