我知道茶不是低等饮品。当它被变成一种仪式时,构建出能够以小见大才能的心灵,美在哪里?是在大事物之中,如同其他事物一样,终究都会消失殆尽?还是在小事物之中,无心索取,却懂得将瞬间变成永恒?这段话出自妙莉叶·芭贝里《刺猬的优雅》,其实我不太明白这些单字构成整句的意义。但当我开始做这一期“玩茶”专题时,突然觉得:嘿,理解不就是一件很个人的事情吗?我想为什么茶不可以打破循规蹈矩仪式的神圣感,浅尝、细品、置斟、续茶、呡呷……把每一个动作,抑或之外的每一件相关的事都当成玩。正如妙莉叶·芭贝里写道:
