洛惠渠灌区位于关中平原东部、北洛河下游。北靠铁镰山,南至洛河一级阶地,西至蒲城、富平县界,东临黄河老岸。平均降雨量为510毫米,年蒸发量为1625毫米,是关中平原降雨量最小而蒸发量最大的地区。该工程于1933年由杨虎城将军倡导,著名水利专家李仪祉先生主持规划,1934年动工兴建,1950年开灌受益。目前灌溉着大荔、蒲城、澄城三县的74万亩农田。开灌五十多年来,该工程促进了灌区农业的发展,取得了
