在福建,由于紫云英收种季节多在五月上旬,一是适遇雨季,收种困难,丰产不丰收;二是影响双季早稻田的插秧,群众多不愿意留种。经研究提出“一次播种多次利用”的途径其关键是要选育出适宜双季早稻田种植又能在三月中下旬有30%的荚变黑,亩有1000～1500公斤的草量可翻压作肥料的品种。因此,靠现有品种有困难,通过太空育种看能否达到这一目的。
