利用同一种基因型 ,分别进行不同的冠限制处理 ,分析其根与冠的关系。结果表明 ,当单株按叶序仅留一片叶和不留叶时 ,有限的光合产物能在根、茎与穗间协调分配 ,只是穗与根有轻微竞争 ,且两品种均表现出了相同的趋势。本研究用根容重指标来反映物质在根中的积累量 ,留不同叶序叶片其所对应的根容重不同 ,根活力也不同 ,但根容重与根活力存在显著的负相关 ,所以已往用根重指标反映根活力大小有局限性。在灌浆末期刈冠结果显示 ,根是高粱的一个具有较高活性的库器官 ,即使停止冠供给光合产物也不会很快死亡 ,相反生理活动更加活跃 ,并消耗存贮的物质而再生冠 ,且保持了较高的根活力
