李朋义,中国出版集团党组书记兼副总裁,中国编辑学会副会长、中国书刊发行业协会副会长、中国翻译协会副会长、中国辞书学会副会长。1972年入伍,1974年入党,1975年任排长。1977年进入北京外国语大学英语系学习,1980年毕业后到外语教学与研究出版社(简称外研社)做编辑工作,1988年赴英国利兹大学攻读语言学硕士学位。回国后历任外研社编辑部主任、总编室主任、副社长、常务副社长,1993年3月任社长,1995年外研社与北京外语音像出版社合并,李朋义任两社社长兼总编辑。2005年6月任北京外国语大学副校长兼外研社社长,2006年被英国牛津布鲁克斯大学授予荣誉博士学位。2007年3月,李朋义被中央任命为中国出版集团党组书记兼副总裁,曾先后荣获“全国百佳出版工作者”称号、“五一劳动奖章”、“韬奋出版新人奖”和“首届中国出版政府奖”优秀出版人物奖等。
Li Pengyi, Party Secretary and Vice President of China Publishing Group, Vice President of China Editorial Association, Vice President of China Book Distribution Association, Vice President of China Translation Association and Vice President of China Dictionary Association. After returning to China, he served successively as director of editorial office, editor-in-chief, deputy director and executive vice president of the Institute of Foreign Languages, president of the editor-in-chief of the editorial board, president of the Institute in March 1993, merger of Beijing Institute of Foreign Languages and Video Publishing Co., Ltd. in 1995, president and editor- . In June 2005, he was appointed Vice President of Beijing Foreign Studies University and Director of FMRI. In 2006, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom. In March 2007, Li Pengyi was appointed by the Central Government as the Party Secretary and Vice President of China Publishing Group. He has won the title of “National Top 100 Publishers”, “May 1 Labor Medal” and “ ”And “ the first Chinese publishing government award ”outstanding publication character award.
