雷巴科夫是原苏联广大读者十分喜爱的一位作家。他于1911年出生于乌克兰一个工程师家庭,1917年十月革命以后随父母迁居莫斯科,1930年考入莫斯科运输学院公路系。他阅历很深,大学毕业后曾在许多地方工作过。1941至1945年伟大卫国战争期间,他自始至终战斗在前线。1948年发表的儿童中篇小说《佩剑》(1954年拍摄成同名电影)揭开了雷巴科夫文学创作生涯的序幕。
Rybakov is a favorite writer of the vast majority of former Soviet Union readers. He was born in 1911 as an engineer’s family in Ukraine. After moving to Moscow with his parents after the October 1917 revolution, he was admitted to the highway department of the Moscow Transport Institute in 1930. He has a long history and has worked in many places since graduating from college. During the Great Patriotic War from 1941 to 1945, he fought throughout the front line. In 1948 published children’s novel “Saber” (1954 film into a movie of the same name) opened the prelude to Rybakov literature career.
