描述作为最重要的文学表现手段,其水平的高低决定着文学作品的质量。由于操作者主客观原因,使得描述的终点性结果与描述对象间产生了“似与不似”的误差,探究描述误差产生的原因及存在的意义对文学创作及欣赏有积极的意义。文学的意义与价值要真正得到实现,依赖读者的参与和确认。过于信任想象,蔑视事实,就不免因走极端而生流弊,使作品离奇到不近情理,空洞到不切人生。想象决不能不根据经验,神鬼和天堂地狱虽然都是想象的,可也都是根据人和现实想象出来的,神鬼都像人一样能思想行动,天堂地狱都像现实一样有时间空间和摆布在时空中的事物。
