我对京剧实在是外行。因为当艺术局长不能不接触这方面的事,也就沾上了边儿。京剧艺术如何振兴是个复杂的问题。对整个剧团的改革,戏剧艺术的改革,艺术局经过反复讨论,形成一些概念,对京剧也许可以这么想,但是不一定能够这样做。提到京剧危机,我的看法是:危机是存在的,但不是日落西山,气息奄奄,我觉得还不是那样。我们现在和旧社会相比,不见得现在萧条得不如旧社会。另外说京剧不如其他艺术兴旺,也不见得,话剧就不如京
