Reduced activation ferritic/martensitic(RAFM)steel is of low activation properties and is selected as a candidate of structural materials for breeding blankets in fusion reactor. The irradiation swelling,hardening and embrittlement are the critical issues of structural materials. Mechanical effects manifest themselves only under the application of a stress.
