People’s Bank of China: The PBC will step up its guidance to financial institutions so that the growth rate of credit for small enterprises in 2008 will not be lower than the growth rate of various loans by no less than last year. The central bank will also encourage financial institutions to innovate small-enterprise credit products and trade financing means, build a multi-level financing system for small enterprises and expand the direct financing channels for small enterprises; standardize the guidance of private funds
