什进村地处海南省保亭黎族苗族自治县西南部,隶属于三道镇。它与国家4A级景区呀喏哒雨林文化旅游区、槟榔谷文化旅游区近在咫尺,与五指山、七仙岭、海棠湾、南田温泉、亚龙湾的距离不足50公里。山清水秀,风景秀丽,土地肥沃,热带植物资源丰富,优美的原生态环境成了什进村的靓丽风景线。什进村总农户数48户,人口183人,全部为黎族。2009年以前,什进村还只是一个贫困的黎族村庄,村民居住的房屋多数为茅草房和瓦房,传统的农业生产方式使什进村无法摆脱落后的面貌,
Shimin village is located in Hainan Province, Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County, southwest, under the three towns.
