现代肿瘤放射治疗中,要用铅块模具来挡掉射线束的一部分,目的是形成需要的不规则形状的射野,以使射野形状与靶区形状的投影一致;或者为了保护射野内的某一重要组织或器官,铅块模具的厚度必须在6cm以上,以使屏蔽区的剂量降至5％以下。
