The new curriculum standard of Chinese indicates that junior high school students should master eight kinds of rhetorical devices. This article will explore the problems that should be paid attention to when teaching Chinese rhetorical devices in junior high school so as to enhance students’ abilities to recognize, appreciate and use rhetorical devices.
