1988年国务院颁布《扫除文盲工作条例》以来,我市扫盲工作在市政府的领导下,通过成人教育系统的努力和各有关部门的支持,取得了显著成绩。尤其在国际扫盲年中,各郊区县认真贯彻全国和市政府扫盲工作会议精神,切实加强对扫盲工作的领导,做到了扫盲工作的组织、责任、队伍、措施、经费、验收等各方面的落实,使我市扫盲工作登上了新台阶。在扫盲工作中,我市涌现出一批先进区县和先进工作者。为了广泛宣传他们的先进事迹和经验,进一步推动扫盲工作,市政府决定表彰6个扫盲先进单位
