新课标的推行,极大地推动了初中历史课教学的发展,但是在现阶段初中历史课的现实状况依然有许多不尽如人意之处,如何从历史教学创新与实践的角度提出改进的有效措施,是摆在历史课教师面前亟待解决的现实问题。在现实的初中历史课教学中,经常能感受到历史教学被边缘化的气息,知识的死记硬背,“学而无用”论的弥漫,充斥着应试教育背景下的历史课堂,因此,只有对历史课教学不断地创新与实践才能真正促进历史课教学的有效开展。
