1 三峡地区的地质特征长江三峡地区的地质构造较为复杂,距今18亿年前的元古宙到距今百万年前的新生界之间的各个地质时代的地层均有分布,且发育完整,出露齐全。北部地层主要出露震旦系下古生代石灰岩,南部地层主要由震旦系、二叠系与三叠系板页岩、石灰岩组成。侵入岩(主要包括花岗岩等)则集中分布于东部的黄陵庙背斜及神农架一带。
1 Geological Characteristics of the Three Gorges Area The geological structure of the Three Gorges area in the Yangtze River Delta is quite complicated.
