1997年下半年以来,东南亚及韩国相继发生严重的金融危机,危机迅速波及日本、香港和台湾等地,对我国进出口贸易也产生了一定影响。1998年前9个月天津市外贸进出口增长速度放缓。据天津海关统计,去年前9个月天津市外贸进出口总值75.02亿美元,与1997年同期相比,下降0.5%。其中,出口38.97亿美元,增长1%,比1997年同期回落13个百分点;进口36.05亿美元,下降2%,比1997年同期回落15个百分点。导致去年天津市外贸出口明显减缓的主要原因是:
Since the second half of 1997, serious financial crises have taken place in Southeast Asia and South Korea. The crisis spread rapidly to places like Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, which also exerted some influence on China’s import and export trade. In the first nine months of 1998, the growth rate of the import and export of foreign trade in Tianjin slowed down. According to statistics of Tianjin Customs, the total import and export volume of Tianjin’s foreign trade in the first nine months of last year was 7.502 billion U.S. dollars, down 0.5% over the same period of 1997.
