1963年公路养护工作,在中共中央和国务院确定的“切实整顿、加强养护、积极恢复、逐步改善”的方针指导下,贯彻执行了全国公路养护工作会议提出的各项任务和具体措施,取得了比前一年更好的成绩。全体职工的阶级觉悟和工作干劲大大提高,养路组织和管理制度日趋健全,干部作风有了改善,公路路况稳定上升,全国好路率由1962年的44%到1963年底提高到56%。县社公路的养护也有所加强,基本上适应了农业、工业生产和国防运输的需要。公路养护同农业、工业生产,人民生活和巩固国防有密切的关系。随着国民经济的全面好转,对公路
In 1963, the road maintenance work under the guidance of the guideline of “conscientiously rectifying, strengthening conservation, actively recovering and gradually improving” set by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council implemented various tasks and concrete measures put forward by the National Road Maintenance Work Conference and achieved Better grades than the previous year.
