冯源,原名冯国平,生于1960年10月1日,河南省西平县人,笔名冯源,号左右,冯宝斋斋主。现任中国书画家协会理事,中国榜书协会会员,中国甲骨文协会会员,中国毛体书法家协会会员,广东带协会员,华夏榜书艺术研究院院长,中国名人书画碑刻艺术馆馆长等职。冯先生书师法晋唐,上追秦汉,打下了扎实基础。之后拜书法名家张瑞玲、刘增基为师,广采博取,汲取众长,逐步形成了自己的风格,被誉为“中原铁笔”。他擅长榜书,亦攻篆隶,其作品笔力雄健、厚朴凝重、豪放多姿、结构端庄自然、遒劲有力、别出新意;具有舒展豪放的艺术形式和强烈的时代感,也体现出他正直宽厚、仁爱、淡泊名利的诚挚秉性。
