Many people commented that Shanghai’s current construction scale and cityscape should be comparable to the most famous cities in the world. During the UIA conference in Beijing in 1999, I was fortunate to interview Mr. Liu Taig, a famous Singapore expert. He is a planning consultant in 10 metropolitan cities in China. His answer is very straightforward: that is, the tall buildings do not equal the modernization, Not a suitable city for people to live. Ordinary people may not be able to very professional to say people-oriented design should be like, but they will have an intuitive feeling, the city life convenient, beautiful environment, people’s vision, feel comfortable, behavior is very natural, the mood is not nervous, Feeling is the space where people can live happily here. Here actually includes three levels of practicality, comfort and beauty of the city. Three levels are mentioned the height of humanistic care. At present, our city may be at some distance
