1941年,当中国共产党诞生20周年的时候,毛泽东在延安作出了这样一个重要论断:“中国共产党的二十年,就是马克思列宁主义的普遍真理和中国革命的具体实践日益结合的二十年。”①这是对党的根本性经验的深刻总结,也是对党的历史本质的生动阐述。在这20年中,党带领中国人民历经艰难险阻终于走出了一条通向胜利的康庄大道,这是中国共产党历史的主体,而所以能够取得这样的成就,最根本的原因就是坚持了马克思列宁主义的普遍真理和中国革命的具体实践相统一的正确方向。而也正是在这时,党经历了两次胜利、两次失败,有了正反两方面的经验比较,使自己从幼年走向了成熟,因而有可能对党的历史的本质获得规律性的认识。毛泽东上述命题的正确性和指导性意义,已经为党的90年历史所证明,并且成为我们党自觉奉行的一条思想路线。

In these 20 years, the party has led the Chinese people through arduous obstacles and finally out of a broad road to victory. This is the mainstay of the history of the Chinese Communist Party. Therefore, the most fundamental reason why such achievements can be achieved is to uphold Marxism-Leninism The correct direction for the unification of the universal truth and the concrete practice of the Chinese revolution. And it is also at this time that the party has experienced two victories and two failed attempts. With both positive and negative experiences and comparisons, it has matured itself from its infancy and has the potential to gain regularity in the nature of the party’s history understanding. The correctness and guiding significance of Mao Zedong’s proposition above have been proved by the 90-year history of the party and have become an ideological line that our party conscientiously follows.
