我校占地面积29亩,建筑面积20000m~2。拥有教学班30个,共有学生2200余人,教职员工81人。是一所全日制五年制小学。从50年代至今,一直是市、县的重点小学。1978年被确定为省重点小学,学校先后荣获省市县荣誉称号300余项。1988年获“全国红旗大队”称号,1990年获市“校风示范学校”称号,1991年被省教委确定为“德育联系点学校”,1991年被四川教育报刊社誉为“巴蜀名校”,1992年获省“先进教工之家”称号,1994年被省政府
