90年代初,我镇在邓小平同志建设有中国特色的社会主义理沦指导下,解放思想,实事求是,大胆探索,锐意开拓,从马陆的实际出发,提出了以大力发展外向型经济作为加速全镇经济发展的突破口。经过几年的奋力拼搏,我镇的外向型经济已成为全镇经济的主要增长点。至1995年8月底,累计创办外商投资企业118户,总投资2.5亿美元,注册资本1.7亿美元,协议吸引外资2亿美元,在嘉定区名列前茅。今年1—8月,已投产开业的60多户三资企业中,实现工业总产值6.1亿元,销售产值6亿元,产销率达到98％;完成外贸拨交额4亿元,创汇率为67％,上交涉外税收超过800万元。今年下半年的产销继续呈现增长趋势。

Production and sales in the second half of this year continued to show a growing trend.
