近年来中国不断引进西方优秀动画片,这些动画片吸引了大批中国影迷,不再是小朋友的专利。不仅如此,动画片还带来了西方人们的文化和创意。动画片片名的优秀翻译不仅能促进电影市场的繁荣,还会使更多的中国观众接触到西方的创意文化。本文试以归化与异化的理论为指导,对近二十年来中国引进的动画片名翻译进行分析,寻找动画片名英译汉的原则与策略。
In recent years, China has continuously introduced excellent cartoons from the West. These cartoons have attracted a large number of Chinese fans and are no longer the children’s patents. Not only that, cartoons also brought Western culture and creativity. The excellent translation of cartoon titles not only promotes the prosperity of the film market, but also enables more Chinese audiences to reach out to the creative culture of the West. This thesis attempts to analyze the translation of the cartoon names introduced in China in the past two decades in order to guide the theory of domestication and foreignization, and to find the principles and strategies for the translation of the cartoon names into English.
