那是一个悲恸的日子:1960年9月9日。全国政协常委、四川省政协常委、民革四川省委常委、我校一级教授陈豹隐先生,因高血压引起脑溢血逝世,终年74岁。噩耗传出,国务院总理周恩来送来了花圈,陈毅副总理发来了唁电。陈毅、李井泉、徐冰、廖志高、邓锡侯、张秀熟、柯召、彭迪先等党和国家领导及四川省省委省政府领导、部分著名知识分子组成了治丧委员会,中共四川省委专门为先生召开了追悼大会。历史翻到1986年9月25日,先生100岁生日。我国一批著名的经济学家宋涛、胡代光等集会成都,隆重举行“著名经济学家陈豹隐教授诞辰100周
