以自制的半胱氨棉,研完了半胱氨棉对十二种金属离子定量吸附条件,洗脱条件,吸附速度,共存离子的干扰和消除,吸附顺序和吸附容量进行了研究。也研完了半胱氨棉的实验室制备,保存和再生使用条件。半胱氨棉是一种良好的固体吸附剂,对水中多种微量元素吸附和容易洗脱的优点,而且制备简单,无异味便于推广。半胱氨酸在酸性溶液中作为掩蔽剂也和一些离子形成水溶性络合物。半胱氨酸和脱脂棉反应末见到报导。关于巯基型树脂和巯基棉均有报导。在纤维素中每个结构单元中含有一个伯羟基和仲羟基,可与多种无机酸和有机酸发生酯化反应参照俞穆清等巯基棉的合成。将半胱氨酸和脱脂棉在实验室中,可用简单的方法制备半胱氨棉,简称H_2L棉,同时研究了H_2L棉在水溶液中的吸附性能,并对H_2l棉在环境保护和地质上的应用进行了研究。
